Band Trailer Fundraiser - Getting there a little bit at a time...

We set ourselves on a mission to purchase a 28’ enclosed cargo trailer to transport all band equipment to the various events the Ferndale Band travels to by Sept 1, 2006. The total cost is expected to be $14,000. Is it feasible? Many of our band booster parents think so. Fundraising events are already being planned and private/corporate donations are being sought.

Thank you to Kathy Green who has been busy contacting our local businesses for help. She has already received almost $1000 toward our fundraising target.

April Walker and Patty Babcock have been planning various concession stand opportunities for events help at Ferndale H.S including a wrestling tournament last month that raised $450 and the wrestling tournament on March 18th that is sure to add quite a bit more.

Mary Jo Saenz has had her hands on the plow planning a breakfast for the wrestling tournament which hopes to bring in a substantial amount.

We welcome any contribution toward this financial goal whether it be a donation of funds or your time and talents. Together we will realize this goal and never have to rent or borrow equipment transportation again.
