Bryn Lamphiear is currently a color guard instructor for the Ferndale High School Marching Band and Color Guard. She has served in this role for the last five years. Bryn is an alumnus of the Ferndale program having been a member from 1993 to 1998. In 1997 and 1998, Bryn served as the guard captain for the Ferndale Performance Ensemble. In 1998, the Performance Ensemble placed 5th in the Scholastic A class at the Winter Guard International World Championships.

Bryn’s primary teaching background has been entirely in the Ferndale School District. In addition to her roles at the high school, Bryn has also instructed a prep level guard at Horizon Middle School and Vista Middle School in the Ferndale School District.

Outside her teaching roles at Ferndale, Bryn is an active mother and wife. She has two kids, Emlyn at 6 years, and Eli at 7 months. She is also an active runner having participated in the Seattle Marathon; the Skagit flats half-marathon and the Chuckanut footrace. Bryn resides with her husband and two kids in Bellingham, WA.
